Program Description:

The master's degree programs in school counseling are accredited by the Council for the Accreditation ofCounseling and Other Related Educational Programs. The typical master's degree program in counseloreducation is designed to provide at least a minimum training for persons in the school counseling profession. Each program contains basic counseling and specialized courses suited to the needs of persons working in such settings as elementary or secondary schools, rehabilitative agencies or post-secondary education. Counselor preparation for other settings will be planned by the student and the advisor.
