Program Description:
The program in Comparative Literature is designed to enable graduate students to develop competence in the study of two or more literatures and literary theory. The program is staffed by an interdepartmental group of graduate professors from English, foreign languages, philosophy, and film. Areas of specialization include history and theories of literature, renaissance, women's studies, gender post-colonialism, and area studies.
