Our leading experts will support your studies. You'll also receive teaching from other world-class departments at Sheffield, including Molecular Biology and Biotechnology, Engineering Materials and Physics.
The bioscience industry sector, including bioprocessing and biopharmaceutical industries, faces skills shortages. There is currently a lack of sufficiently and suitably qualified graduates for these industries to prosper. At Sheffield, we aim to change this. We have worked closely with industry to create a new postgraduate MSc course called Biological and Bioprocess Engineering. The course includes emerging disciplines such as Synthetic Biology and Bio-energy.
