Program Description:

Suitable for both UK and overseas applicants, this programme will provide you with a firm grounding in the fundamental principles and practice of management and leadership as applied within health and social care services. The core of management science is coupled with options from the MPH programme, enabling you to study relevant public health topics and gain skills and knowledge in research appraisal.

The MPH (Management and Leadership) is ideally suited to clinical and non-clinical professionals who aspire to be leaders in their health care organisations and systems, either in the UK or in their own country. It will help clinicians understand the world of the manager and managers the world of the clinician.

A major strength of this programme is its combination of public health, management, health services research and health economics. This is a combination not available from an MBA or a pure MPH or MSc programme. Furthermore, you will study alongside other students in the School taking our MPH programmes.
