Program Description:
The M.S. in Financial Analysis offers rigorous specialist training in quantitative financial analysis and economics. The curriculum is structured around, but not limited to, the bodies of knowledge and skills deemed necessary for the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation by the Association of Investment Management and Research (AIMR). Students will receive quantitative training in economics and finance, and will have the ability to apply the most current tools used by investment management professionals today.
The Professional MSFA is designed for working professionals and provides a sequential approach to the tools and knowledge necessary for the Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA® designation by the CFA Institute). Classes meet on Saturdays and students may complete this program in 22 months.
The Accelerated MSFA is designed for applicants who do not have two or more years of professional experience. Accelerated MSFA courses meet during the week over three semesters covering 12 months. The curriculum is identical to the Professional MSFA program, and many of the same instructors teach the same courses in both program formats.
A concurrent MSFA/MBA degree program is also available to Accelerated or Professional MSFA students.

Eligibility Requirements:
Accelerated and Professional MSFA applicants must submit the following materials for consideration: Online application, application fee, resume, one essay, two letters of recommendation, official transcripts. Accelerated MSFA applicants must also submit a GMAT or GRE score and Professional MSFA applicants must demonstrate two years of post-undergraduate work experience. Prerequisites include Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Accounting, Probability and Statistics, Linear Algebra, Calculus courses, and knowledge of spreadsheet applications. Merit-scholarships are available to highly qualified applicants.

In addition to our standard application materials, international students must also submit a TOEFL, IELTS, or PTE Academic score, a Certification of Finances form and a copy of their passport.
