M.A. in Peace and Justice Studies
Program Description:
Beginning in August, 2002, the College of Arts and Sciences will admit its first class to the new M.A. degree program in Peace and Justice Studies. The entering class will be no more than 10 students who will study full-time for one year and be awarded the M.A. degree at the conclusion of the Summer 2003 session on the successful completion of requirements.
Most M.A. degrees in peace studies focus on international relations. USD does too, but also builds on philosophy, religious studies, and ethics. Students selected for entrance in the Program will receive a partial fellowship toward tuition and consideration for other financial aid.
