Our programs are based on a deep interdisciplinary understanding of human development and human potential. United by a commitment to promoting healthy human development and a passion to help individuals in need, Warner faculty and students in the Counseling & Human Development programs work together to explore and understand:
•How people grow and change through all ages--from infancy to old age.
•The theories and research that help to understand the nature of growth and change.
•The insights sociology, psychology, and biology provide as we strive to comprehend learning and development in infancy, childhood, adolescence, and adulthood.
•The environments we can create within families, schools, and communities to foster healthy human development.
•How we can help individuals to cope with personal difficulties and address social and institutional problems which impinge on healthy development.
