Program Description:
The Master of Public Health degree program at the University of Rochester was established in 1970 and is accredited by the Council on Education for Public Health. It trains present and future health professionals from a variety of disciplines and backgrounds by developing and enhancing their research, evaluative and planning abilities. The program aims to teach students skills for a rational and analytic approach to problem solving from both investigative and managerial perspectives. Graduates are prepared for roles in a wide variety of public and regulatory agencies, in profit and not-for-profit private health agencies, and in health services research.
