Program Description:

This is a research oriented department in the Mathematical Sciences in the broad sense. Based on a strong foundation in core areas of mathematics, we have strong research groups in computational mathematics, mathematical biology, financial mathematics, mathematical analysis, algebra and combinatorics, and topology and differential geometry. We also offer a Professional Master of Science degree designed for students who would work in technology intensive industries.
