Program Description:

This program brings together faculty in both basic and applied sciences, including researchers from the School of Medicine, the University of Pittsburgh Cancer Institute, the Pittsburgh Genetics Institute, and the Pittsburgh Center for Human Gene Therapy. The program's faculty is engaged in intensive research with direct relevance to cancer, AIDS and other infectious diseases, muscular dystrophy's, and other genetic disorders. This specialized training program is a part of the Interdisciplinary Biomedical Graduate Program (INTBP) at the University of Pittsburgh.
