Program Description:

The graduate certificate in Latin American Social and Public Policy provides a focus for students who wish to cross disciplines to study topics related to social and public policy in Latin America. Course requirements are completed in conjunction with study for a master's or doctorate in any of eighteen or more departments/schools at the University. The certificate requirements -- a capstone seminar, five area courses, language proficiency, and an interdisciplinary research paper -- can, with careful planning, be completed during the same time period as the advanced degree.
