Program Description:
The Graduate Gerontology Certificate is offered through the University Center for Social and Urban Research in collaboration with the University of Pittsburgh Council on Aging. The program is designed to serve professionals in diverse disciplines, in a variety of industries, who are interested in acquiring basic knowledge about gerontology and geriatrics, and specialized knowledge of aging and aging processes in their particular disciplines or occupations. This 16 credit graduate certificate has a multidisciplinary track that blends course work across numerous disciplines to allow for a more broad-based educational experience.
