Program Description:

The mission of the Wharton PhD program in real estate is to produce scholars of exceptional ability in real estate. Typical graduates will be well-prepared to pursue rewarding careers at leading academic, government, and other research-oriented institutions. The program is distinct in its emphasis on the rigorous application of quantitative techniques to the economic analysis of complex issues in real estate research. At the same time, the program seeks to develop graduates capable of making the connection between an education thoroughly grounded in the theoretical and empirical literature to a profession involving the examination of pertinent, real-world issues incontemporary real estate. Students are given the unique and important advantage of being enrolled in a program in the consistently ranked leading real estate department in the nation.
