The doctoral program in public policy and management focuses on how policies concerning major public issues areformulated, selected, implemented, and evaluated. It provides a foundation for achieving an improved understanding of the relationships between government and industry, which is critical in an environment in which the government influences virtually all private sector transactions. The program seeks to deepen understanding of these processes, to develop, disseminate, and apply new tools of analysis to assist decision making
