Program Description:

The Teacher Education Program prepares beginning elementary and secondary level teachers who are researchers and reformers. The Teacher Education Program has a strong commitment to and involvement in urban education, school restructuring, education research, and reform. Pennsylvania state teacher certification is offered in elementary education and on the secondary education in English, math, science, social studies and foreign language. A joint degree program with TESOL is also available.
