Program Description:
The M.S.E. program is structured to develop in the student a much stronger theoretical base for either engineeringpractice or research. The M.S.E. degree requires successful completion of 10 course units. Typically, M.S. students take four courses per semester and obtain the M.S.E. degree within three semesters. The Ph.D. degree program is focused on the development of research skills which will equip the graduate for a life of scholarship in her/his field of interest. The heart of the course of study is the thesis research that culminates in adissertation which adds to our store of knowledge in a significant way.
