Program Description:
The M.Arch is a professional degree accredited by the National Architectural Accrediting Board (NAAB). The mission of the M.Arch. degree program is to develop the skills, knowledge, and methods of inquiry necessary for the professional practice of architecture. Students with a bachelor's degree in an unrelated major or an architecture major are admitted to a three-year program although advanced standing of up to two semesters is available for students with a major in architecture. Students with a 5-year accredited Bachelor of Architecture professional degree or its equivalent are admitted into the Post-Professional Master of Architecture, the M.S. in Architecture and the Master of Environmental Building Systems programs.
