Program Description:

The Nurse-Midwifery Distance Learning Program offers a Master's Degree in Nursing and a Certificate in Nurse-Midwifery. The main goal of this program is to increase nurse-midwives in rural underserved areas of our state so that women will have greater access to qualified, competent and compassionate caregivers. The program is multi-media in nature, delivering course content through multi-site two-way audio-visual videoconferencing, videotapes, e-mail, e-mail attachments and fax. The Pediatric Oncology Nurse Practitioner Program has a distance learning program affiliated with St. Jude's Hospital for Children in Nashville, Tennessee.
