Program Description:

The Department of Art History offers programs leading to the master of arts (M.A.) and the doctor ofphilosophy (Ph.D.) degrees in art history with specialization in architectural history, ancient, medieval, Renaissance-baroque, modern, and Asian art. The department's M.A. degree program is the only one of its kind in Oregon and is unusual in the western United States.
