Program Description:
The Department of Physical Therapy offers a 3 + 3 Master of Physical Therapyprogram. Students apply to the professional phase of the program (at the Health SciencesCenter) while completing 90 hours of general education, inclusive of the prerequisites describedin this document. Upon satisfactory completion of all requirements, the student is awarded adegree of Master of Physical Therapy (M.P.T.). The graduate is then eligible to take the NationalPhysical Therapy Examination conducted under the direction of the Federation of State Boards ofPhysical Therapy.
