Program Description:
The M.A. program in psychology consists of three emphases: 1) Social, for students wishing to pursue doctoral study in social and related areas of psychology or pursue masters level jobs in social psychology; 2) Clinical Science, for those who wish to pursue doctoral-level study in clinical or counseling psychology or to become masters level providers of psychological services operating in clinical settings under appropriate supervision; and 3) Industrial-Organizational, for students interested in pursuing either doctoral-level studies in industrial-organizational psychology or a career in human resources or consulting. Students who are interested in other areas of faculty expertise may apply to the individualized study emphasis.
