Program Description:
This program is designed for those who intend to work in non-school settings such as community and mental health centers, counseling centers, and employee assistance programs. Specific areas of interest and the setting in which the person plans to work will determine the appropriate electives in a specialty (emphasis) area. Students completing the program must pass a written comprehensive examination, successfully complete a research paper, and fulfill program-specific exit requirements.
