Program Description:

Prepares Advanced Practice Nurses in Family Practice and front line leaders in education and practice at the Master’s and Doctoral Levels. The doctoral program prepares nurses to contribute at the highest level of clinical practice, leadership in nursing education, scholarship of teaching and research in the discipline. Graduates of the PhD program would be qualified to fill nursing faculty positions in academic institutions and health care agencies. The School of Nursing also offers postmaster's certificates in the following emphasis areas: Nursing Education and Family nurse practitioner.
