Program Description:
The aim of the program is to develop scientist-practitioners who are able to apply psychological and educational principles to improve the psychosocial environment of children (ages birth-21) and their families. Attention is directed toward the development of skills in the assessment of the intellectual, emotional, and social development of children; planning and implementing direct academic and social/emotional interventions with a focus on evidence-based and culturally sensitive practice; and providing individual and systems consultation within schools and the larger community. Doctoral graduates, in addition to being eligible for licensure as psychologists and school psychologists, may also be qualified to assume positions as university professors, private practitioners, and consultants.

Eligibility Requirements:
Undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or higher, Combined GRE score of 1000, 3 letters of recommendation, goal statement

• An international student is neither a citizen of the United States nor classified by United States Immigration and Naturalization Service as a Lawful Permanent Resident or Permanent Resident Alien.
