Program Description:

Students interested in careers in dance and related fields may pursue the interdisciplinary MA degree with a specialization in dance. The MA degree is a two year, 30-36 hour course of study in which 15 semester hours are completed in dance plus a minimum of 6 hours in two related fields. Students interested in careers in theatre arts and related fields may pursue the Master of Arts or Masters of Science degree. A graduate degree requires the completion of 36 hours of courses and selection of one of two options for your final project.Option 1: research or writing degree including a written thesis and oral defense.Option 2: a practical degree including a project in lieu of thesis and oral defense.
