Program Description:
As the sole source of an osteopathic medical education for aspiring physicians and surgeons in Texas, Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine is unique among the state's eight medical schools. TCOM is the medical school of choice for more than 2,700 graduates and over 500 current students. We offer a hands-on, personalized education, with students working alongside experienced physicians in TCOM's 24 teaching clinics and laboratories, in private practices throughout Fort Worth and in affiliated hospitals across Texas. Each student logs about 3,800 hours of patient care- in both primary and specialty fields - before graduating.
