Program Description:

The Joint Master of Social Work program represents the efforts of faculty at North Carolina Agricultural andTechnical State University (NCAandTSU) and The University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNCG). The program offers a single academic program with participation in instruction by faculty from eachdepartment. Instruction will be conducted on the campuses of both universities.In the first two years (1997-1999), the program requires full-time participation of students. Successfulcompletion of the degree requires 60 semester credit hours taken over two academic years. During this periodthe program will be in candidacy status for accreditation with The Council on Social Work Education.
