Program Description:

The University of North Carolina at Pembroke offers a program of graduate studies leading to the Master of Arts degree and graduate-level licensure in Art Education, English Education, Mathematics Education, Physical Education, Science Education, and Social Studies Education.
The graduate education programs were established in response to the needs of public school educators in this region of the state. The graduate program is planned as an outgrowth of strong undergraduate programs in teacher education. The programs are fully accredited by the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education, the North Carolina State Department of Public Instruction, and the Southern Association of College and Schools.
