Program Description:

The primary goal of the Department's graduate program is the training of professional Classicists for research and teaching at all levels. We hope that our students will acquire a knowledge of the Classical World that is both broad and deep, and we encourage a concern not only with the discovery of knowledge but also with its preservation and effective dissemination.
