Program Description:
The Department of Psychology offers a program in Clinical Psychology leading to the Ph.D. degree, and students are admitted to the program only if they intend to work toward the Ph.D. degree. The Clinical Program, which follows the Boulder, or Scientist-Practitioner, model of education and training has been accredited by the American Psychological Association since 1949. Because of the program's research emphasis, students who seek training solely for clinical practice are not encouraged to apply.
