Program Description:

The Department of Mechanical Engineering offers the doctor of philosophy degree in engineering and the master of science degree in mechanical engineering. In general, applicants have a B.S. degree in mechanicalengineering. GRE general test scores are required. Graduates of other engineering and science disciplines and math are encouraged to apply. Special curricula are developed for such students to provide exposure tothe breadth of mechanical engineering. Qualified applicants can be admitted for either fall or spring semester.
