Program Description:
Natural Resources and the Environment is a multidisciplinary group of faculty and students. The Department requires each student to contact one or more faculty to discuss programs and funding, and secure a commitment on the part of a faculty member to serve as your graduate advisor. Applicants are admitted to the Natural Resources MS program only when a determination is made of where the applicant will fit into an ongoing research program.
This program is designed for students whose work crosses disciplinary boundaries within the natural resources and does not easily fit within one of the existing options. Students can later choose to specify one of the four options if their research interests change or if they become specific to one individual area.
