Program Description:

The Department of Foreign Languages offers a graduate program of studies leading to Master of Arts degrees in French and Spanish, bearing in mind the specific and practical needs and the professional objectives of language teachers seeking to improve both their own teaching and qualifications as well as the standard of language teaching within the local school district. The program emphasizes literary studies preparing students for further graduate studies beyond the M.A. degree in leading institutions of higher learning and also serves the needs of people in the community who,for their own enjoyment and interest, want to continue their studies in a foreign language.
