Program Description:
The Plant Sciences Program is based in the University of Nebraska’s Center for Plant Science Innovation, an interdisciplinary research and training program in the plant sciences. The university is recognized for the recruitment of established industry professionals and renowned faculty who have research strengths in plant genomics, plant pathology, biotic and abiotic stress responses, organelle biology, computational biology, agricultural biotechnology and plant breeding. Located in the George W. Beadle Center for Genetics Research, students and postdoctoral trainees conduct their research in an excellent quality environment with state of the art facilities and resources.
