Program Description:

Students can earn an M.A. degree in psychology with concentrations in animal behavior or physiological psychology. requirements for completion of the degree include 4 core courses in psychology and 3 to 4 additional courses in the student+s area of interest. Research is also required, including completion and defense of a thesis. Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.): Through a cooperative program with the University of Nebraska-Lincoln students can earn a Ph.D. in psychobiology. This program requires 3 additional core courses in psychology and additional course work in the student+s area of interest. Extensive research is also required, including completion and defense of a doctoral dissertation.
