Program Description:

This degree program in Curriculum and Instruction, emphasis in Learning Technologies is an inovative program designed to prepare individuals for high-level leadership roles. Participants will explore, develop, and evaluate school and district-wide or corporate technology learning environments. Graduates will learn to apply educational theory to their previous experiences using educational technology in order to design technology-enhanced learning environments. Teachers and educators in K-12 and higher education settings, as well as corporate trainers and other professionals outside of the academic realm will gain knowledge and skills with specific emphasis in instructional systems and technology.

Accreditation:

National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education; meets National Educational Technology Standards (NETS) identified by the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE)

Eligibility Requirements:

Previous experiences using educational technology is highly suggested to increase success in this degree program.

International Student Requirements:

International Students residing in the USA can only complete degree at the physical campus with a maximum of 3 online credit hours (one regular course) per semester. Students must meet UMKC admission requirements for International Students.
