Program Description:
Within the Division of Biological Sciences, eight faculty share a common interest in the function of the nervous system and its regulation of behavior. They work in a wide variety of disciplines, including sensory physiology, motor control, neurophysiology, neuroethology, developmental neurobiology, molecular neurobiology, and neurogenetics. Techniques used by the faculty range from behavioral analysis to molecular biology. Their experimental systems include invertebrates, vertebrates and cells in culture.
