Program Description:

We are committed to providing the finest practical and theoretical education for the performer, the artist, the educator, the scholar, and the audience member within the parameters of a liberal arts education. We believe that training the historian, theorist, artist, and craftsperson is inextricably linked to and centered in the laboratory experience of live performance as well as the academic classroom. And we do this in the center of the Twin Cities -- a wonderful cultural resource which features two internationally famous orchestras, three world-class art museums, an international opera company, three Broadway road houses, three major dance companies, over 50 performing arts theatres, including the world-famous Guthrie Theater, the Children's Theater, Penumbra, and Theatre de la Jeune Lune.
