Program Description:
The graduate program in Natural Resources Science and Management provides opportunities for graduate students in an array of research subjects that are organized into seven tracks. This program is characterized by both breadth and depth, and builds on the strength of the University of Minnesota and the long tradition of natural resources in the College of Natural Resources. Our graduate program has consistently been ranked among the top programs in the country. The seven tracks offered are: Forests: biology, ecology, conservation and management; Economics, policy, management and society; Assessment, monitoring and geospatial analysis; Recreation resources, tourism and environmental education; Forest hydrology and watershed management; Forest products; and Paper science and engineering.
