Program Description:
The Department of Biostatistics brings biostatistical expertise to a wide spectrum of health-related problems. It seeks to advance knowledge in biostatistics and health through educational programs for students in biostatistics and applied researchers. The department offers four degrees, residential MS, Ph.D. and MPH degrees in biostatistics and an On Job/On Campus MS in Clinical Research Design and Data Analysis (CRDSA) for working health professionals. CRDSA students attend classes in Ann Arbor one four-day weekend (Thursday through Sunday) each month. Students meet a total of 18 times for 5 semesters (fall-winter-spring/summer-fall and winter) and learn the many facets of clinical research.
