Program Description:

The University of Michigan is internationally recognized as a center of excellence in Manufacturing research and education. The Tauber Manufacturing Institute (TMI), provide coordination of joint manufacturing activities between the College of Engineering (COE) and the Michigan Business School (UMBS). The only degree programs at the University of Michigan with the word manufacturing in the name are offered by the interdisciplinary Program in Manufacturing (PIM). These are the Master of Engineering in Manufacturing (M. Eng. in Mfg.) and the Doctor of Engineering in Manufacturing (D. Eng. in Mfg) graduate degrees.
