Program Description:

The Electrical Engineering program covers topics such as circuits and microsystems, electronics, VLSI, applied electromagnetics and RF circuits, optics and photonics, solid-state materials, devices, and integrated circuits. For each designate major area there is a set of courses called the "kernel".

Eligibility Requirements:

3 Letters of recommendation. The general GRE is required. Scores should be submitted to the University of Michigan using 1839 as the institution number.
The GRE test date must be within five years of the application deadline in order to be valid for admission.
