Program Description:
The University of Michigan offers the degree of PhD in Statistics in recognition of excellent scholarship and research in Statistics. The program is quite flexible and allows a student to pursue a variety of specializations, ranging from statistical methodology and interdisciplinary research to theoretical statistics and probability theory.
International Student Requirements:
Applicants are required to provide an official score report from the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL). The minimum TOEFL score accepted is 560 on paper, 220 on the computer or 84 internet. The test date must be within 2 years of the application deadline. Scores should be submitted to the Rackham Graduate School using the institution code of 1839 and the program code of 59.
