Program Description:
A campus of approximately 170 graduate students and 110 faculty members located on Virginia Key, an island in Biscayne Bay, a tropical estuarine system surrounded by the urban area of Greater Miami. The Division of Meteorology and Physical Oceanography is engaged in education and research in the physical processes governing motion and composition of the ocean and atmosphere through observational, diagnostic, modeling, and theoretical explorations.
