Program Description:
The Master of Geographic Information Technology (MGeoIT) is designed to meet the needs of graduates employed or wishing to be employed in the disciplines associated with land administration, natural resource management, facility information management, environmental management, urban planning and conservation. Through this program students should gain a detailed knowledge of the theory, technology and applications of geographic information technology as a subset of the broader discipline of the management of spatial data. Graduates admitted to this program are likely to be from the disciplines of engineering, surveying, geography, planning, environmental science, archaeology, agriculture and forestry.
