Program Description:
The Master of Engineering (Chemical) is a professional degree which prepares graduates for employment as an engineer. Demand for chemical engineers in the workplace remains strong, with significant growth in salaries in particular for graduate engineers gaining employment in the mining industry, graduates from the Master of Engineering (Chemical) will be well placed to ensure into the workplace at an advanced level. Students will gain high level skills in advanced areas of chemical engineering which will further enhance employment opportunities. Elective subjects include Advanced Process Control, Process Engineering Case Studies and Computational Fluid Dynamics. The course incorporates practical, laboratory based skills and expertise in computing and simulation. The course will also contain an industry project that will allow for students to complete a project in conjunction with a relevant industrial partner
