Program Description:
The core curriculum of our graduate program includes microbial genetics,biochemistry, immunology, virology, and medical microbiology. Requirements are flexible, depending on the student's background. Subsequent years include a selection of shorter courses covering selected topics of current interest in modern microbiology and molecular genetics. All students participate in teaching medical students. Thesis research normally begins in the second year.
