Program Description:

The Graduate Program in Cell and Molecular Biology in Stratford is the only Ph.D. granting institution in the biomedical sciences in all of South Jersey. Students receive comprehensive education in molecular biology, cellular biology, and molecular medicine and gain valuable experience in classroom teaching and laboratory instruction. Research on the Stratford campus is rapidly expanding as evident by the Science Center Addition, which is slated to open in the Fall of 2004. Moreover, the GSBS-Stratford offers a 10 week Summer Undergraduate Research Experience program designed to give selected undergraduates the opportunity to work in research laboratories and experience academic research first-hand. Many of these students go on to pursue graduate school at Stratford or other Ph.D. granting institutions.
