Program Description:
The University of Massachusetts Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences offers graduate programs in Biomedical Sciences (PhD only), Population Sciences and Translational Sciences. Specialties are available in biochemistry and molecular pharmacology, cell biology, cellular and molecular physiology, immunology/virology, interdisciplinary graduate program, molecular genetics and microbiology, neuroscience, biomedical engineering, clinical and populational health research, and clinical invesitgation. The objectives of the School are to train biomedical scientists, clinicians, and public health professionals who will possess both specialized knowledge and a broad background in the biomedical and/or translational sciences and will be equipped to conduct research with direct relevance to human disease.
