UMUC's Graduate Biotechnology Management Certificate is designed to provide the student with a solid foundation in the technical, business, and ethical issues facing the industry today. Upon receipt of the certificate, students will be able to: explain the regulatory affairs process for bringing biotechnology products to market; practice and apply interpersonal skills in team building and project leadership; use financial tools to monitor and manage biotechnology projects; and discuss legal and ethical issues in the life sciences.
